An encounter between the power of a brass ensemble and the energy of musicians who blend genres and influences into a label-free sonic journey. Originally born as a classical quintet, the group evolved by adding a rhythm section and a soulful voice, creating a bold and contemporary project. The repertoire merges funk, jazz, soul, pop, and ‘80s icons in original arrangements inspired by Canadian Brass, Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power, Nina Simone, and many others. On stage, Brassense is pure energy: every performance breaks down the barriers between musicians and audience, turning each concert into an engaging and dynamic show. Thanks also to Maestro Ivan Marini, creator of tailor-made arrangements that enhance each musician’s potential and shape every piece around the ensemble’s unique sound and dynamics. The musicians who form BRASSENSE boast collaborations with artists such as Mario Biondi, Ennio Morricone, Renato Zero, Renzo Arbore and Gegè Telesforo. 

Brassense is the fresh breath of live music. It’s a sound that shakes you, a vibration that stays with you, an experience to be lived note after note.
