Entrare a contatto con le opere di un grande compositore come Mulgrew Miller è stato un privilegio senza pari.
Qualche anno fa ho avuto la fortuna di prendere parte ad un workshop dove ho cantato nella Big Band diretta da Roy Hargrove, il quale mi ha introdotta alle composizioni di Mulgrew Miller.
Questo è stato l'esordio, l'evoluzione e la nascita di questo progetto, vissuto con cura e, al contempo, col timore di approcciare un mondo di suoni e colori così ricco, complesso e completo. Quest'album è il risultato del cammino iniziato molto tempo fa e che ha fatto di me una musicista.
Dare voce e musica, ascoltare ciò che rimane impresso e proporlo a voi è l'anello finale del viaggio che oggi vi raccontiamo.

To get in touch with the work of such a great composer as Mulgrew Miller has been an
unequaled privilege.
I was fortunate to attend a workshop where I sang in the Big Band led by Roy Hargrove whom introduced me to Mulgrew Miller's music.
This has been the begining, the evolution and the birth of this project, conceived with
care and, at the same time, with the fear of approaching a world of sounds and colours already so rich, complex and complete.
This album is the result of the journey that was conceived through all of the years that shaped me as a musician.
