The Snakioplatz are Giuliano Da Re ("Jul", guitar), Massimiliano Vio ("Sakanaka", bass) and Fabio Giaggio ("Jajo", drums), three nice rogues from the Venetian hinterland. The band was born in 2000 with the name of Slump, and is already proposed as an unorthodox combo, with a hard rock aftertaste. They then became Snakioplatz (name without meaning) and won many competitions, receiving in 2006 the critic's prize at Arezzo Wave.They release three demos, always in live broadcast recording, and finally arrive at a complete album in 2014, with which they confirm the maturity reached. Snakioplatz offers an original mix of various musical genres ranging from punk to jazz, from hardcore to funk, from rock to metal, with continuous, very particular breaks and great imagination in the rhythmic solutions adopted. The band is inspired by Mr. Bungle, Primus and Frank Zappa. The music is characterized by the lack of vocal part, but this more than a weakness is perhaps their strength, together with that right dose of aggression and madness that makes it even more unpredictable. Their album, released on the platforms ten years ago was then withdrawn, and now it is available again in Caligola's digital catalogue.
