After ten years between streets and theaters, the new album of Minimal Klezmer is finally released, the third after «Minimal Klezmer» (2012) and «Oy Oioi» (2014). The historical Venetian klezmer band, unseduced by any musical trend, reiterates that the music they like is acoustic, dynamic and imperfect. Their music also contains a lot of improvisation, and is therefore not far from jazz. Thus continues their journey into klezmer and Eastern European Music, this time with a considerable addition of original compositions, four by Francesco Socal, two by Roberto Durante and one by Enrico Milani together with Pietro Pontini. «Öt mínusz kettő» appears as a further step forward in the definition of an increasingly original style and the confirmation that Minimal Klezmer is now a prominent role in the Italian ethnic music scene. This album is enjoyable and at the same time rich in interesting musical content.
