Tre giovani di grande talento che, affiancati dalla tromba di Antonello Sorrentino, propongono una musica matura, consci che nell'arte ciò che conta è la capacità di emozionare e l'idea. This is a brand new CD made by a trio of three excellent musicians with whom I have spent many enjoyable moments, talking about music, playing music, and looking for a way for us to develop and grow together.
These three very talented young people, accompanied by Antonello Sorrentino on the trumpet, have presented us with a mature form of music, with the full awareness that what truly matters is the ideas that lie behind it and its capacity to excite and emotionally move the listener.
Saccocci, Piccioni and Di Caro all know that talent is a fundamental factor, but that further in-depth study and exploration make all the difference.
“Rite of Passage” marks the transition to a kind of music in which there is no need to show off or to exhibit anything; music in which the intrinsic power of ideas is of the essence.
