Ho conosciuto Emanuele qualche anno fa, in occasione di un tour siciliano insieme ad Enrico Zanisi. La cosa che più mi ha colpito di Emanuele è la capacità di ascolto, sia nella musica che nel rapporto umano, a dimostrazione che le due cose non possono essere distinte. Nelle composizioni di Emanuele riecheggiano le atmosfere più diverse, che, partendo dal linguaggio jazzistico tradizionale, si allargano verso linguaggi più moderni e vicini ai nostri tempi, attraversando climi rarefatti ed a volte di sapore medio-orientale, fino alla libera improvvisazione.

Un ascolto piacevole ed estremamente variegato, come si addice ad un giovane gruppo di musicisti che con passione, cerca una propria identità.

LINER NOTES – EMANUELE PRIMAVERA

I met Emanuele few years ago, while I was on tour in Sicily with Enrico Zanisi. The thing that struck me most about Emanuele was his ability to listen, both in the context of music and in human relationships, which shows that these two things cannot be separated. The most varied atmospheres resonate in Emanuele’s compositions and, starting from the traditional language of jazz, they extend towards more modern idioms that are closer to our own times, to include rarefied moods that sometimes have a Middle Eastern flavour and free improvisation.
This record offers a pleasurable and extremely variegated listening experience, as befits a group of young musicians who are seeking their own identity with passion and dedication.
