“Virgo Supercluster” is the fourth album of the guitarist Martino Vercesi. Virgo is the name of the supercluster where our solar system is located, where we live. The peculiar sound of quartet due to several reeds and rhythm section battery /hammond organ give a powerful color and a strong identity to this imaginary journey through time and space.
Was born in Milan. He began to study modern guitar when he was ten years old. After that he studied classical guitar and in 2002 he graduated in classical guitar at the “G.Verdi” conservatory in Milan with highest marks.He completed his training with Bruno Giuffredi and Andrea Dieci for classical guitar, Gigi Cifarelli, Luca Meneghello and Pasquale Grasso for jazz guitar. He collaborated with several musicians such as Luigi Bonafede, Tony Arco, Giovanni Falzone, Marco Vaggi, Sandro Cerino, Fabrizio Trullu, Ares Tavolazzi, Luca Dell’Anna, Antonio Fusco and Marcello Testa. He has played in several national and international jazz clubs such as Blue Note Milan, Porgy and Bess Vienna, Jazz Club Chur, Jazz Club Torino. He played live radio, and received flattering reviews on specialized magazines (See Jazz Music, Classical Radio, Radio Vertigo 1, Kristall Radio, Anima Jazz). He has several publications at his disposal both as a soloist and as a sideman:

Virgo Supercluster è il quarto album del chitarrista Martino Vercesi. Virgo è il nome del supercluster dove e’ localizzato il nostro sistema solare, dove viviamo. Il suono particolare del quartetto dovuto all’ utilizzo di diversi fiati e della sezione ritmica batteria/organo hammond da’ un colore potente e una forte identità a questo viaggio immaginario attraverso il tempo e lo spazio.
Martino Vercesi è nato a Milano. Dopo essersi appassionato fin da piccolo alla chitarra moderna nel 2002 si diploma in chitarra classica al conservatorio “G. Verdi” di Milano con la votazione di 10 e lode. Completa la sua formazione perfezionandosi con Bruno Giuffredi e Andrea Dieci per la chitarra classica, Gigi Cifarelli, Luca Meneghello e Pasquale Grasso per quella jazz. Ha collaborato con diversi musicisti di chiara fama nazionale come Luigi Bonafede, Tony Arco, Giovanni Falzone,
