This is the debut album of the young jazz vocalist Chiara Pelloni, from Bologna. Among the best students of Diana Torto, with whom she also collaborated in concert, Chiara presents us eight sweet and evocative songs, six sung in English, one in scat and one in Italian, all her compositions. The atmosphere is made even warmer and more enveloping by the presence of a section of three winds, which is not usual to find in a singer’s record. The idea of the album was born during a long and profitable study stay with the American singer Deborah Carter in Spain. We are sure that «Eve», a successful and mature work, will capture the attention of jazz fans, not only Italians, thanks also to the excellent work done by her six excellent musicians.
