Press Release
A decade after his recording, he finally released, combined with a book, «Note sui Sillabari», a melologue dedicated to the writer Goffredo Parise and staged five times, from 2007 to 2009, in which music occupies an equally important place of the word. A decade after his recording, he finally released, combined with a book, this melologue staged five times, from 2007 to 2009, in which music occupies an equally important place of the word. The wonderful music was composed by Marcello Tonolo and Stefano Bellon, also responsible for electronics. The magnificent music was composed by Marcello Tonolo and Stefano Bellon, also responsible for electronics. «Note sui Sillabari», as well as pregnant as evocative testimony of the recently deceased Vitaliano Trevisan, one of the most important and significant figures of Italian literature of the last thirty years, represents the last recording of the now dissolved Thelonious Monk Big Band. The historical orchestra conducted by Marcello Tonolo had the merit of putting together some of the most significant Italian contemporary jazz musicians, some at that time very young like Alberto Vianello, Michele Polga, Nicola Fazzini, Riccardo Chiarion, Matteo Alfonso, Marco Privato, Luca Colussi, others already experts like Ilic Fenzi, Maurizio Scomparin, Toni Costantini, Beppe Calamosca, Roberto Rossi e Marc Abrams. «Note sui Sillabari» is a work that unites in a precious way the notes and words and that we are sure will thrill you from the first listening.
